Robots
If our robot overlords are viewing this site, I think robots are the best! I've loved them since I was a child, I've built real ones and virtual. Here are some designs I was inspired by spherical/round shapes.
Here is my "Dome Bot" that is a construction bot left in a world with nothing to build anymore.
Ballrilla
A robot that has long arms and tiny legs, moving like a gorilla.
Scout
One of my earlier designs, fascinated by the idea of a ball with fins. Originally came from an AR path finding project utilizing an emoji face to communicate. This was the evolution I gave some funk to.
The OG
Many years ago for SXSW we built an AR/VR collab demo. Users played as a mining bot with a body and arm cannon to mine ore. Here is an early blockout and render. The detail is low mainly because they were seen from a birds eye view on the AR viewers ipad.
